This ensures easy access to all your games without the need to switch between different stores. The user interface also incorporates a Command Center menu, providing access to various settings such as game frame rate and display settings during gameplay.

The operating system of the ROG ALLY handheld console, AMD Z1 EXTREME model, is a special version of Windows 11. This OS is compatible with Steam, Game Pass, Epic Store, GOG, and any Windows-compatible store, eliminating concerns about losing your game archives. The console's technical performance depends on how you use it, allowing handheld gaming at 1080p resolution and a maximum frame rate of 120.

With your Microsoft account, you can use the fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button to access the console without entering a password. This handheld console also includes parental control settings and Windows Defender to protect against various threats.

When connected to a television, the console supports not only Full HD image quality and a refresh rate of 120Hz or higher but also the connection of two wireless gamepads for multiplayer games like FIFA. To connect this handheld console to a television, you need the ROG Ally-specific charging dock, sold separately. This console features a zero-gravity cooling system, not relying on gravity to dissipate high temperatures. Designed for running AAA games, the ROG Ally AMD Z1 Extreme console's battery lasts up to two hours with maximum graphic settings during gameplay and up to seven hours of use. The console also supports fast charging, allowing you to charge it up to 50% in approximately half an hour.
