Since it was known as Project Morpheus, PlayStation VR has attracted a lot of attention because it is the only headset that does not require multi-thousand dollar PCs to run games. If you have a PlayStation and are looking for a virtual reality experience outside the realm of smartphones, PlayStation VR is for you. To experience virtual reality on PlayStation, you don't need anything more than a PlayStation VR headset and PlayStation Camera, and many games work with the same standard console controller. But a large part of the games require a Move controller to provide a more immersive experience, and to experience several games, you must have two of these controllers.

PlayStation VR has a feature called "cinematic mode" where you can enjoy 2D content while using the headset. Using this feature, you can experience games and movies on a huge virtual screen. PlayStation Camera is required for initial setup, but using Cinema Mode does not take advantage of the camera.
